Alan SchaeferPennsylvania

Alan has extensive sales and marketing experience in both pharmaceutical and over the counter brands over a period of thirty two years. The companies he has worked for are Johnson and Johnson, International Playtex, and SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline). In his fifteen years with GSK, he held the positions of Vice President-Consumer Sales USA; Vice President-Sales and Marketing-Dermatology and Oral Care USA; General Manager- Australia and New Zealand; and lastly Vice President-Medical Sales and Marketing for the USA. He has had responsibility for over thirty Rx and OTC brands within the GSK portfolio and has managed business units of $350mm in sales revenue and teams of 400 people. In his time at GSK, Alan has worked with agencies domestically and globally that include Grey Worldwide, McCann Erickson, Arnold Worldwide, RSG Euro RSCG Worldwide, Burson Marsteller, and Ogilvy.

Alan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa and likes to spend his free time golfing, and of course, chasing the forever elusive single digit handicap.
